Dumpster Fire of UI and UX
For a Google product, this app is astonishing awful. I've used more than of it recently for tv shows I dear that take left Netflix and other streaming platforms. Here are the problem areas: 1) you tin can buy all seasons of a series (one-x) but the interface doesn't acknowledge you lot bought all of them and doesn't separate them out. Then y'all have to search hundreds of episodes in a unmarried line and the same seasons yous purchased that are cleaved out by season enquire you to purchase them once again to view them in that card. It's absurd. ii) there is no "return to view" or "keep watching" orientation in the UI except the one episode yous were in anchored at the top of the experience. Once y'all complete that episode, y'all take to become back to the menu and find where you were and play the side by side episode. iii) the experience claims to allow "binge watching" but most shows exercise not auto play the next episode even when the feature is turned on. After each episode you lot have to go discover your identify and play the side by side which makes it even harder when 1) and two) above are and so poor. Honestly guys, put your historic "pattern sprints" in activity and go the correct folks from production, ux and design in a room and fix this shitshow. And maybe look at how seasons are sold and appear in the UI vs. buying each private episode. Not rocket science here

I received a souvenir card for Google play and was excited to finally utilize it to purchase a moving-picture show! I am very disappointed however that I have been unable to lookout the movie that I purchased. I have tried to watch it several ways, through the app, on my Apple TV, through my headphones, and not a single way works! On the screen sometimes I can hear the sound but I cannot run across the picture and other times I see the picture with no audio. I can't believe that I can't fifty-fifty plug-in Bluetooth earphones because if you do it will not play. I accept tried several times to play the flick but to no avail. I am really frustrated! I am very surprised at a product like this from Google. I sure hope that this app gets fixed. Google has such good products information technology doesn't make sense to accept a product like this if it is non good and brings down your make. Information technology's distressing to say but one negative can cancel out so many positives. That just seems the nature of the human being condition. With that being said I like your other products...simply not this one. Delight fix it. I'd like to watch my movie and I am nervous to buy any more than movies with my gift card!
Garbage UI
I'm boggled past the user interface hither. Upset that Friends was leaving Netflix, I bought the unabridged serial for but $50 through Google Play. Neat bargain! However, the player is crap. First of all, information technology'due south not separated by season. If I want to spotter something after in the series, I take to scroll through allllll the episodes before it. It'due south as well non super obvious where yous left off. The episode titles also do not fit on the tiles, not even close. And then basically the but info you get is "Season 4 episode 2...The One..." ("The One" is how all the episode titles start). If you leave it on rampage watching mode, the adjacent episode starts before the current one is over (seriously! How is this an result in this twenty-four hours and age?). If you turn binge spotter mode off, so one time an episode ends, it goes back to the bill of fare with all the episodes, but not scrolled to the episode y'all only watched or anywhere near there. At that place is a "Last Watched" indicator on the last watched episode only you take to be right on pinnacle of the episode tile to see it. Lastly, at that place is no option to become back ten-15 seconds like with nigh other streaming services. Everything virtually this UI is so and so so bad.
